    The Red Devils are in the market for a new full-back as they look to rebuild under Ruben Amorim and the Lecce star is a target that the new coach has personally requested, journalist Gerardo Fasano told .

    United are lining up an offer worth up to €35 million (£29m/$37m), the reporter says, and Napoli are prepared to come close to that offer, though they would consider loaning the 20-year-old back to Lecce. It is more than a two-horse race, however, as Chelsea and Tottenham have already been credited with an interest in Dorgu.

    Dorgu joined Lecce from Nordsjaelland in 2022 in an initial loan deal before completing a permanent move a year later. He was initially used as a left-back but has been used as a winger more recently – often on the right side. He has scored three goals in 12 Serie A games this season – one more than he managed in 32 matches last term.

    Dorgu is not the only left-back on United's radar, with Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies and AC Milan's Theo Hernandez among the options on their list of targets.
